Norman Hsu Saga Ends in Prison time
Anybody who has been following the Norman Hsu story would be cheated if they missed the ending. After 16 years of evading his conviction, Mr. Hsu has been sentenced to 3 years in prison. He had argued that because authorities had not been actively pursuing him his right to a speedy trial had been violated. This argument was rejected by Judge Stephen Hall.
It seems to me like Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton and other big name democrats were taking money to keep the authorities off his tail, and that they could no longer do that when the news media started covering the fact that they were taking money from a fugitive, and that he then tried to use the favor to try to convince a judge that the authorities didn't want him.
But what do I know?

Obama was the first to identify Hsu to the press. He got his info from Orphan.
